A Little More About Me
I studied geology in college and worked in the engineering industry as a hydrogeologist after school.
I am an artist, and my mom and I created our own business, SundogStudiosCo, with a focus on watercolors and silversmithing (check out our website HERE
I am an avid reader of any good book, and am a self-proclaimed baker (one of the greatest shows in my opinion is the Great British Baking Show). Don't ask me to pick a favorite dessert, that would be like choosing a favorite book, but you can never go wrong with an oatmeal-raisin cookie—healthy and tasty,
what's not to like?
Bust most of all, I am a daughter of the King who makes all things possible through Him. The stories I write would not be possible without His grace.
And for those of you who simply must know more...
-
I am a Colorado native, which means "West" is always toward the mountains.
-
I've always loved to write, and when I was in elementary school, I wanted to become a poet.
-
I am a HUGE fan of dogs! I probably know the names of more of my neighbors' dogs than actual neighbors.
-
I went to school for geological engineering, and for my Master's research, the school bought me a flame thrower (for scientific purposes, of course).
-
In my undergrad, I spent six weeks camping across Utah and Colorado mapping out geological units and writing reports by lamplight. I learned during that time that I'm stronger than I think, that God's grace is sufficient, and I REALLY hate spiders.

I love a good story. And I love happy endings. I secretly wish real life was more like a movie, but we have the greatest assurance in Christ.

The 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice is the best (there, I said it) :)
